Jennifer Malenky, MBA, CFRE and President, is Director of Philanthropy and Strategic Partnerships at Colorado Early Colleges (CEC). She has held senior development roles at a variety of community based nonprofit organizations serving the most vulnerable members of society including CASA of the Pikes Peak Region and The Resource Exchange. Jennifer started her career in fundraising at Junior Achievement-National Headquarters and has experience in all aspects of philanthropic revenue generation including individual donor cultivation and solicitation, corporate solicitation, proposal writing, reporting, government funding, special events, major gifts and planned gifts. She particularly enjoys partnering with staff, boards, and volunteers around building a culture of philanthropy to unleash the power of giving that transforms lives and communities. In addition to her AFP board service, Jennifer is also a proud Board member of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum where she serves as President and chairs the Fundraising Committee. A near-native of Colorado Springs, Jennifer is married to Australian artist and muralist, Kim Polomka, and enjoys spending time with their energetic school-age son Max as well as reading, yoga, and gardening.
