CNE Presents: Effective Grantwriting Workshop

 “Developing Your Message” will be held from 9 am to noon. A sound and compelling case statement is the backbone for all your organization’s communication and fundraising messages – a single message explaining why your organization exists, what you do, your vision, who benefits, and why they should support your cause. If you’ve ever wondered if your fundraising and marketing materials say what you think they’re saying or if you’ve ever wondered how to make your message more compelling, this workshop is for you.

“Effective Grantwriting” will be held from 1:30-4:30 pm. There’s nothing magical or mystical about successful grantwriting. If you are new to grantwriting or if you have limited experience, join us as we explore the basics of successfully planning and implementing your grantwriting program, including: Articulating your case for support, Nuts and bolts of successful grantwriting, General tips for writing successful proposals, Common mistakes (and how to avoid them!), and Identifying appropriate grant sources.
