The most common complaint in all nonprofits is "Our board doesn't do fundraising."  Each organization thinks that if they only did something differently, or recruited different people, the board would start doing fundraising. 

After 25 years of hearing this complaint over and over, Kim Klein thinks that the way boards are designed and structured is the source of this problem.  However, there are a few ways to get the board on board.
