Description:
Planned giving today isn’t only for the large nonprofits that can afford to hire financial and legal specialists. Many small nonprofits are launching successful programs or expanding their informal efforts because of the tremendous value it can bring to their organization. Planned Giving – The Basics is an all-day program focusing on fundamentals about the nuts and bolts of planned giving. This interactive, practical day is designed to provide simple yet specific ideas to help you start or enhance a planned giving program. The agenda includes:
· Overview of gifting methods in planned giving
· Marketing how-to and samples, samples, samples
· Finding the planned giving donor
· Discussions on taxes, legacy societies, face to face visits and direct mail
· And lots of examples to get you started
