NEW Development Networking Group announced by CNE and Association of Fundraising Professionals

AFP Southern COlorado Chapter and the Center for Nonprofit Excellence are pleased to announce the formation of a networking group for nonprofit development officers and staff, co-sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. All those with responsibilities for raising funds for their nonprofits are encouraged to attend.

Special thanks to our sponsor for the development networking group, the Fine Arts Center. Meetings are being hosted the first Thursday of each month by the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, 30 W. Dale St., from 8 to 9 a.m., and coffee will be provided. The structure of the meetings will include a time for networking, approx. 30-minute presentations, and time for Q&A or other business. At our first meeting, we are pleased to host Tim Cullen from the Colorado Springs Technology Incubator with a presentation about Everyday Philanthropy, a technology tool that allows individual customers to capture affiliate marketing commissions and distribute those commissions to charities of their choice.
